The Steve Irwin Visits Italy The Steve Irwin arrived today in La Spezia, Italy for a brief visit and a fund-raising event. The crew were greeted with a huge welcoming banner. This marks the first time that a Sea Shepherd ship has docked in Italy.

This position was relayed from observations by private yachts reporting to the Taz Patrol and posted on Twitter. It is estimated that Captain Peter Bethune will arrive in Tokyo by mid-March

Ady Gil Arrives in Antarctica The Sea Shepherd vessels Ady Gil and the Steve Irwin met on the high seas at 0030 Hours on Wednesday, December 23rd. The Japanese security vessel, Shonan Maru No. 2, was seven miles astern of the Steve Irwin and was unable to see the Ady Gil approach
Ady Gil Successfully Departs for Antarctica Hobart, Tasmania - Sea Shepherd’s new fast interceptor vessel, Ady Gil , cleared customs on Friday, December 11 at 11:38 AM. The vessel is heading south to convene with Sea Shepherd’s Steve Irwin for the 6 th Whale Defense Campaign Operation Waltzing Matilda to end illegal whaling in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary. Senator Bob Browne and other Sea Shepherd supporters were on hand to wish the Ady Gil speed and success as it departed this morning.
