While the Sea Shepherd crew has not been able to stop the whaling fleet from continuing their operations, they aren’t ready to back down yet either. In part they claim victory as they have been able to at least keep the whalers from reaching their quota. Full of emotion and more determined than ever they refuse to back down. Placing their ship between the harpoon and factory vessels they attempt to block the transfer of the whale. Unfortunately as Captain Paul Watson speaks to the media, lack of experience at the helm almost puts them out of position.
Captain Watson is then left to perform a dangerous maneuver by turning tightly and coming around on the ship. However as the Harpoon boat prepares the transfer the Steve Irwin is unable to catch up and get in position to try and run over the line cutting it and releasing the dead whale. In the end they end up launching a throwing attack that culminates into a collision of the two ships. It is more obvious than ever that the Sea Shepherds are not willing to give up their fight. With some damage done to the ship and fuel reserves running dangerously thin they reluctantly decide this years operation is over and head back to port. Waiting for them at the dock is the Australian Federal Police who detain the crew and serve a search warrant confiscating the ships log book and countless hours of Animal Planet raw footage that is copied and later returned.

No one in their right mind can say that this was not a diliberate act on Paul Watson and the sea shepard’s crews part. Not only did Watson intentionally turn his ship into the Japanese ship and then wait to back off the entire time the crew members were hurling projectiles at the crew and ship of the Japanese. There is no way from the footage shot by the sea sheperd’s themselves that should it come to arrest and trail that any sane jury would not convict the “so called” captain and crew of at the very least reckless endangerment against the Japanese. At this point, it’s not about whaling or enviornmental issues. It’s about deliberate acts of reckless behavior and lawlessness committed by the whole sea shepherd “CLOWN ALLEY”. These people shouldn’t be allowed to walk down a dry street little alone have a ship of considerable tonage to use as a battering ram against anyone regardless of what they are or are not doing. I hope the Japanese get their fill of these dispicable acts if the so called govenments won’t put a stop them and come back with torpedoes and put the steve irwin, crew and all, on the bottom of the ocean!
